Adding a New User

Learn how to add a new user to your existing Transect account.

There are two ways to add new users to an existing Transect account:

  1. A Company Admin can send them an invitation.
  2. A user can request to create a Transect account by visiting the Sign-Up page.

Depending on the settings of your subscription plan, there may be additional fees for adding new users. For more details, reach out to your Account Manager or email sales@transect.com.

Inviting a New User via an Admin Invitation

Company Administrators can invite new users to join their Transect account if their email domain is the same as the business/account email domain.

To invite a new user:

  1. Select your name in the upper right-hand corner and choose Manage Account from the dropdown.
  2. Scroll down to the 'Invite Users' section and enter the email address of the User you would like to invite.
  3. Click Add User.

The User will receive an email inviting them to create a Transect account. They will be added to the company account once they have created a Transect account and confirmed their email address.

The @email domain for new users must match the email domain for the existing company account, otherwise the user will not be allowed to create a Transect account.

New User Sign-Up

New users have the option to create their own account to join an existing company account, without requiring an invitation from a Company Administrator. In order to access the company account, the new user must verify that their email address is linked to the business domain.

  2. Complete the required fields, including name, email, password, and Industry.
  3. Select Sign Up.
  4. You will receive an email to your sign-up email account asking you to confirm your email address.
  5. Once your email address is confirmed, you can sign into Transect and be automatically be added to your company account.

The @email domain for new users must match the email domain for the existing company account, otherwise the user will not be allowed to create a Transect account.
