Changing your Password

Learn how to change or reset your Transect password.

 Transect users have two convenient options for managing their password:
  1. Change Password In-App: If you remember your current password, you can easily change it directly within the Transect app.
  2. Reset Password: If you've forgotten your password, no problem! Simply use this webpage to initiate the password reset process.

Changing your Password In-App

  1. Click your name in the upper right corner of Transect or click this link.
  2. Select My Profile from the dropdown.
  3. In the 'Update Your Password' section, input your current password and your new password using the following requirements:
    1. At least eight characters long and contain at least one of each: uppercase letter, lowercase letter, number, special character (@$!%*?&).
  4. When finished, select Update Password.

Resetting your Password

  1. Navigate to http://app.transect.com/reset. 
  2. On the Password Reset page, enter your email address and select Reset Password.PW RESET 1
  3. You'll be sent an email confirmation where you'll click the Secure Reset Link.

  4. Enter your new password with the following requirements:
    1. At least eight characters long and contain at least one of each: uppercase letter, lowercase letter, number, special character (@$!%*?&).
  5. Once finished, login to Transect with your new credentials.
